Since 1948, International Credit Union Day has been celebrated annually on the third Thursday of October. This year’s theme, “Building Financial Health for a Brighter Tomorrow”, celebrates 73 years of the worldwide credit union movement, its history and achievements.

What does it mean to be a part of a credit union?

As a member, you’re an owner and have a say in the direction of the credit union. You’re part of a community; a community that has a vested interest in the well-being of the places we call home. Thanks to you, we’re able to provide financial solutions and advice that put people before profits while also supporting many local events, programs and services that are helping to build stronger communities.

How will we celebrate?

COVID-19 continues to impact our in-person events, and though our celebrations will look a little different this year than in past, it certainly doesn’t dampen our enthusiasm and appreciation of you, our members, who make it all possible.

If you can safely do so, please visit our branches on International Credit Union Day and receive a Beaubear Credit Union wall calenadar or 6-month calendar. Watch our social media channels for updates.

Thank you for being a member. Collectively, and cooperatively, we make a difference.
